Meet Nelly Hernandez

I’m Nelly Hernandez, a proud wife, mother of two, business owner, and community leader. Above all, I love Osceola County and believe our best days are still ahead.

After earning my Bachelor’s in International Business from Oral Roberts University, I spent over a decade helping manage and grow a family business. When I began, the company was working hard to grow; through dedication and faith, we built it into a thriving enterprise that partnered with multibillion dollar corporations, including both private firms and publicly traded companies.

When that business was sold, I took a leap of faith and launched my own. By the grace of God, it has flourished. I’m a woman who believes deeply in the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. With Him as our cornerstone, my family and our business have persevered through challenges and continued to thrive.

In 2022, I co-founded the Osceola Action Committee, a grassroots movement born from one conviction: our county deserves better. Shoulder to shoulder with residents, we’ve pushed back against mismanaged growth, fraud, waste, and abuse that drain our resources and harm our families, and we’ve proven that organized, principled advocacy can stop reckless development.

Now I’m running for Osceola County Commissioner, District 4 to restore honest leadership, accountability, and fiscal responsibility. For too long, taxpayer dollars have been wasted on failed projects, empty LYNX buses, and special interest deals while our roads crumble, our deputies are underpaid, and families struggle to stay in the communities they reside in.

It’s time to put families first. It’s time for leadership that serves people, not politics. I’m here to serve our community with integrity and your best interests at heart because when our community succeeds, we all succeed together.
